At Teaghlach Uilinn Retirement and Convalescence Centre we pride ourselves in the warm, friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Through our committed and professional staff, we are focused on making sure all residents are cared for in a safe, warm, secure and homely environment.
Teaghlach Uilinn Nursing Home and Convalescence was established in 2006. It is owned and operated by a family from the local area. The staff at the home are directed by a team of dedicated and committed members of management who continually strive to raise standards of care.

We currently employee 55 staff, predominately from the local area. All nurses are registered with an Board Altranais and all care staff have FETAC level 5 qualification in Care of the Elderly. All staff are Garda vetted, insured and work under the supervision of the Person in charge and Clinical Nurse Manager. Prior to commencement all staff undergo an extensive induction and in house training programme. Trainnig is provided on an ongoing basis both in house and externally to ensure all staff have the knowledge and skills required to enhance the provision of care to all our residents.
The number and skill mix of staff on duty is determined according to the care needs of the residents, and the size and layout of the home which is subject to regular review by the person in charge and the registered provider.
